Job Description

Serious work for a serious officer: armed response across a business park in Ermelo. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Home base is a business park on the Ermelo side of Mpumalanga. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What you'll actually do

Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room

Must-haves

At least 2 years in guarding or response
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
Calm under pressure and physically fit
Clean criminal record and no pending cases

Nice if you have

First-aid Level 2 or 3
Knowledge of the local streets and sectors
SAPS, SANDF or reservist background
