Job Description

Clients in a business park in Kimberley pay for fast response, and this crew delivers it. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The site is in Kimberley; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

What your day looks like

Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details

You'll need

Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
Calm under pressure and physically fit
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)

Nice if you have

First-aid Level 2 or 3
Advanced driving course
SAPS, SANDF or reservist background
