Job Description

When a panic button goes off in a farming district in Mbombela, you are the one who arrives first. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

The work is in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What you'll actually do

Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room

Must-haves

Clean criminal record and no pending cases
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts

Helpful, not essential

Knowledge of the local streets and sectors
SAPS, SANDF or reservist background
