Job Description

You'll answer alarms across a mixed-use neighbourhood in Middelburg (MP) in a marked vehicle, armed and ready. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

The work is in Middelburg (MP), Mpumalanga, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What you'll actually do

Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren

You'll need

Calm under pressure and physically fit
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
Clean criminal record and no pending cases
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
