Job Description

Clients in a mixed-use neighbourhood in Rosslyn pay for fast response, and this crew delivers it. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Location: Rosslyn, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What you'll actually do

Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren

You'll need

SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
Clean criminal record and no pending cases

Helpful, not essential

Knowledge of the local streets and sectors
Advanced driving course
First-aid Level 2 or 3
