Assembly Line Operator (Component Plant)

Quality and speed go together at this exhaust and catalytic converter plant in Ballito. You'll be part of that. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

You'll report in Ballito. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Load and unload robotic welding cells safely
• Keep your station clean using 5S rules
• Rotate between stations as the team leader plans
• Follow standard work sheets and quality checkpoints at every step
• Take part in kaizen ideas to improve your station
• Pull the andon cord when a defect or safety issue appears

• Can follow written and visual work instructions
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights
• Good eyesight and hand coordination
• Able to pass a basic literacy and numeracy test

• Basic computer skills
• Previous experience in an automotive plant
• Forklift licence for material handling

• Learnership opportunities toward an artisan trade
