Assembly Line Operator (Component Plant)

You'll build parts or whole vehicles on a moving line at the vehicle assembly plant in Fourways. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is a vehicle assembly plant on the Fourways side of Gauteng. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Wear the correct PPE, including gloves, glasses and ear protection
• Rotate between stations as the team leader plans
• Keep your station clean using 5S rules
• Follow standard work sheets and quality checkpoints at every step
• Take part in kaizen ideas to improve your station

• Able to pass a basic literacy and numeracy test
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights
• Good eyesight and hand coordination
• Can follow written and visual work instructions

• Basic computer skills
• Forklift licence for material handling
• NQF 2 in Automotive Manufacturing and Assembly through merSETA
