Job Description

Good factory hands stay for years, and this industrial bakery in Fourways trains from day one. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

The site is in Fourways; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

  • Follow lock-out procedures when helping with cleaning inside machines
  • Move full bins and crates to the next station with a trolley
  • Clean down machines and floors at the end of each run

  • Path to machine operator after six months
  • Free PPE, overalls and hairnets

Applying, step by step

  1. Check you meet the must-haves first; recruiters filter on those before anything else.
  2. Keep copies of these ready to send: CV listing any factory or packing work, even short-term, ID copy, certified within the last three months plus food handler or HACCP certificate if you have one.
  3. Fill in the short form below with your name and a phone number you actually answer.
  4. Watch for a call or WhatsApp from How2Apply over the next 8 working days.

Tips to get shortlisted

  • Do not wear jewellery or long nails to the interview if it is on site. Food factories notice and it counts.
  • Mention that you can work rotating shifts right at the top. It is the first thing most factories filter on.
