Assessor and Moderator (Services SETA)

A corporate training academy in Roodepoort needs a facilitator who can teach, assess and keep the paperwork audit-ready. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

Home base is a corporate training academy on the Roodepoort side of Gauteng. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Moderate other assessors' decisions and sign off moderation reports
• Assess portfolios of evidence and write clear feedback to learners
• Give feedback on course materials so the next intake runs better
• Develop lesson plans, case studies and assessment guides
• Keep attendance registers and learner files ready for SETA verification

• Confident presenting to groups of 20 or more adults
• Good report writing and record keeping
• At least 3 years of working experience in the subject field
• Own transport for training at client sites
• Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Holiday breaks between intakes at colleges
• Paid re-registration with your SETA
• Travel allowance or company car for site training
