Job Description

You'll keep a guesthouse with family quarters in Brackenfell clean, calm and running smoothly for the family. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Home base is a guesthouse with family quarters on the Brackenfell side of Western Cape. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

What your day looks like

Wash, hang, iron and fold the household's laundry
Keep a list of cleaning supplies running low for the employer
Help an elderly person with meals, medication reminders and light walking
Wash dishes and keep the kitchen tidy after meals
Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas on a weekly rotation
Water indoor plants and feed pets

Must-haves

Willing to follow the family's house rules and routines
South African ID or valid work permit
Good with children and patient
Able to speak and understand basic English

Helpful, not essential

Basic first aid or child CPR course
Cooking experience with family meals
A driver's licence for school lifts
