Automotive Technician (Diagnostics) – Immediate Start

Good with a scan tool and a torque wrench? This franchised passenger vehicle dealership in Tzaneen needs you in a bay. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll report in Tzaneen. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Coach the apprentice on your bay through basic services
• Update control unit software when the manufacturer releases a campaign
• Carry out roadworthy pre-checks on lights, brakes and steering
• Keep your bay, tools and special service tools clean and counted
• Replace clutches, brake pads, discs, shocks and timing belts

• Confident with diagnostic scan tools and wiring diagrams
• Motor mechanic trade test certificate (Red Seal) or occupational certificate at NQF 4
• Code 08 licence so you can road test cars
• Able to meet flat-rate or sold-hour targets

• Productivity bonus on sold hours above target
