Job Description

This office equipment supplier in Umlazi wants someone who can open doors and keep accounts for years. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

The site is in Umlazi; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What you'll actually do

Build quotes and proposals with correct pricing and margins.
Forecast monthly sales and report pipeline value each Monday.
Respond to RFQs and tenders with complete supplier packs, including B-BBEE certificates.
Prospect new companies by phone, LinkedIn and walk-ins in business parks.
Chase overdue accounts with the credit department before they grow.

Must-haves

You close deals, not just collect meetings
Confident with Excel, Outlook and a CRM
Matric plus a sales, marketing or technical qualification
Solid presentation and negotiation skills
2 or more years of business-to-business sales with a proven record
Valid driver's licence and your own reliable car

Helpful, not essential

Salesforce, Zoho or HubSpot CRM experience
A technical trade or engineering background for sales engineer roles
