Job Description

You'll keep the line running at an industrial bakery in Alberton, feeding, checking and packing product all shift. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

The work is in Alberton, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What your day looks like

Wear hairnets, beard covers and gloves in food-safe zones
Feed raw material or empty packaging into the machine at the start of the line
Check product for size, weight and seal faults and pull out rejects
Hand over at shift change with notes on rejects and stoppages
Help the machine operator clear jams and reload hoppers

Must-haves

No problem wearing full PPE, including ear protection
Able to stand for a full shift in a noisy, warm area
Grade 10 minimum, matric an advantage
Available for rotating day and night shifts
You follow hygiene rules without being reminded
Neat, reliable and on time for shift start
