Job Description

Here in Boksburg, a soft drink bottling plant needs steady people who can repeat a task well for eight hours. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

What your day looks like

Weigh ingredients or additives against the recipe card
Change over packaging film and labels when the line switches product
Wear hairnets, beard covers and gloves in food-safe zones
Help the machine operator clear jams and reload hoppers
Check product for size, weight and seal faults and pull out rejects

Must-haves

Grade 10 minimum, matric an advantage
Basic reading and counting for batch sheets
No problem wearing full PPE, including ear protection
Neat, reliable and on time for shift start
Medically fit; some food plants ask for a medical check
You follow hygiene rules without being reminded

On offer
