Bakery Production Hand (Early Shift) – Experienced

You'll keep the line running at a plastic moulding plant in Boksburg, feeding, checking and packing product all shift. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

This post is Boksburg-based, with most of your time spent at a plastic moulding plant. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Hand over at shift change with notes on rejects and stoppages
• Weigh ingredients or additives against the recipe card
• Check product for size, weight and seal faults and pull out rejects
• Clean down machines and floors at the end of each run
• Change over packaging film and labels when the line switches product

• Grade 10 minimum, matric an advantage
• No problem wearing full PPE, including ear protection
• Able to stand for a full shift in a noisy, warm area
• Available for rotating day and night shifts

• Path to machine operator after six months
• Night-shift allowance on top of basic pay
• Staff shop with discounted factory products
• Company transport on some night shifts

• Name the products you worked on before, like "biscuit line" or "juice bottling". Factory recruiters read that faster than a job title.
• Mention that you can work rotating shifts right at the top. It is the first thing most factories filter on.
