Bakery Production Hand (Early Shift)

Here in Coega, a snack food factory needs steady people who can repeat a task well for eight hours. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Home base is a snack food factory on the Coega side of Eastern Cape. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Weigh ingredients or additives against the recipe card
• Help the machine operator clear jams and reload hoppers
• Move full bins and crates to the next station with a trolley
• Feed raw material or empty packaging into the machine at the start of the line
• Follow lock-out procedures when helping with cleaning inside machines
• Hand over at shift change with notes on rejects and stoppages

• Grade 10 minimum, matric an advantage
• Neat, reliable and on time for shift start
• Available for rotating day and night shifts
• Basic reading and counting for batch sheets
• Able to stand for a full shift in a noisy, warm area

• Company transport on some night shifts
• Path to machine operator after six months
• Staff shop with discounted factory products

• Name the products you worked on before, like "biscuit line" or "juice bottling". Factory recruiters read that faster than a job title.
• Do not wear jewellery or long nails to the interview if it is on site. Food factories notice and it counts.
