Job Description

You'll keep the line running at an industrial bakery in Epping, feeding, checking and packing product all shift. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

You'll report in Epping. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Hand over at shift change with notes on rejects and stoppages
Clean down machines and floors at the end of each run
Stop the line with the emergency stop if anything jams or looks unsafe
Record batch codes and counts on the hourly production sheet
Pack finished product into cases and stack them by batch number
Help the machine operator clear jams and reload hoppers
Feed raw material or empty packaging into the machine at the start of the line

Must-haves

Neat, reliable and on time for shift start
You follow hygiene rules without being reminded
Medically fit; some food plants ask for a medical check
Basic reading and counting for batch sheets
