Every parcel scanned, every drop confirmed: that is the job at an e-commerce delivery hub in Bloemfontein. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

This post is Bloemfontein-based, with most of your time spent at an e-commerce delivery hub. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
• Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
• Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
• Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
• Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
• Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
• Phone customers when the address is hard to find

• Able to work Saturdays
• Clean driving record and no criminal record
• Good sense of direction and map reading
• Polite with customers at the door

• Branded uniform and rain gear
• Company van, bakkie or scooter provided
• Fuel card for work trips

• For owner-driver jobs, list your vehicle's make, year and load size. They hire the vehicle as much as the driver.
• Say you have a smartphone and know delivery apps. Most courier jobs now run through an app and training time is short.
