Job Description

Experienced Code 14 drivers are in short supply, and a coal haulage contractor in Bloemfontein is hiring. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Location: Bloemfontein, Free State. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What your day looks like

Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date

Must-haves

Medically fit, including eyesight
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Clean criminal record
