Bakkie Delivery Driver (Spares Runs)

Every parcel scanned, every drop confirmed: that is the job at an engineering firm in Germiston. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Location: Germiston, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
• Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
• Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
• Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
• Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
• Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
• Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults

• At least 1 year of driving experience
• Clean driving record and no criminal record
• Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
• Good sense of direction and map reading

• PrDP for staff shuttle posts
• Previous courier or last-mile experience
• Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts

• Per-drop incentive on busy days
• Company van, bakkie or scooter provided
• Branded uniform and rain gear

• If you have a clean driving record, write "no accidents, no traffic fines" plainly. It is what recruiters look for.
• For owner-driver jobs, list your vehicle's make, year and load size. They hire the vehicle as much as the driver.
