Job Description

A clean Code 8 licence and good street sense will get you started at a courier depot in Potchefstroom. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

This post is Potchefstroom-based, with most of your time spent at a courier depot.

The work, day to day

Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands
Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults

You'll need

Polite with customers at the door
Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
Clean driving record and no criminal record
Good sense of direction and map reading
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Able to work Saturdays

Nice if you have

Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
Previous courier or last-mile experience
