Bakkie Delivery Driver (Spares Runs)

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Umhlanga for a courier depot, all day, all over town. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Home base is a courier depot on the Umhlanga side of KwaZulu-Natal. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
• Phone customers when the address is hard to find
• Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
• Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
• Follow the delivery app for route and stop order

• Clean driving record and no criminal record
• At least 1 year of driving experience
• Good sense of direction and map reading
• Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
• Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps

• Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
• Previous courier or last-mile experience

• Per-drop incentive on busy days
• Branded uniform and rain gear
• Fuel card for work trips

• If you have a clean driving record, write "no accidents, no traffic fines" plainly. It is what recruiters look for.
• For owner-driver jobs, list your vehicle's make, year and load size. They hire the vehicle as much as the driver.
