Job Description

Long hours, clean record, safe arrival every time: that is what a cross-border transport company in Durban Central pays for. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Location: Durban Central, KwaZulu-Natal. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

What your day looks like

Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip

What you need

Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Clean criminal record
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
