Job Description

The road is your office with a cold-chain logistics fleet based in Pinetown, and the load gets there because of you. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Home base is a cold-chain logistics fleet on the Pinetown side of KwaZulu-Natal.

What you'll actually do

Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped

What you need

Medically fit, including eyesight
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Clean criminal record
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
