Job Description

Home every night: a furniture retailer in Prospecton needs a steady Code 10 driver for daily routes. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading

Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Honest with cash and customer goods
Clean driving record
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks

Extra points for

Experience on a sales-and-delivery route
Speaking local languages on township routes
Crane or HIAB operator certificate

What you get

Delivery incentive per completed route
Company-paid PrDP renewals
Overtime on month-end and peak days
Home every night

Applying, step by step

Check you meet the must-haves first; recruiters filter on those before anything else.
Get these ready, because shortlisted people are asked for them straight away: references from delivery or distribution jobs, Code 10 licence and PrDP card copies plus ID copy and proof of residence.
Use the form on this page. It takes about two minutes and you don't need to upload anything yet.
Keep your phone on. Shortlisted applicants are contacted by call, SMS or WhatsApp within 8 working days.

How2Apply recruits for this position on behalf of hiring employers around Prospecton; applications go into our talent pool and shortlisted candidates are introduced directly.

How2Apply never charges you to apply, for training, for uniforms or for a "placement fee". If anyone asks you for money, it is a scam.

How to stand out

Name the areas you know well. A driver who already knows the route saves the company money from day one.
Mention cash handling if you have done COD deliveries. Honest cash drivers are what distributors worry about most.
