Job Description

Passengers in Umlazi trust a school transport operator to get them there safely, and that trust is on your shoulders. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Location: Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What your day looks like

Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked
Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points
Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives

Must-haves

Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Clean driving and criminal record
Patient and friendly with passengers
At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
Punctual for very early starts

Nice if you have

First-aid certificate
Experience on mine or staff transport routes
Tour coach experience with charters
