Job Description

Good service at a busy mall coffee shop in Brackenfell starts with you: friendly, quick and on top of every order. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

Home base is a busy mall coffee shop on the Brackenfell side of Western Cape.

What you'll actually do

Clear, wipe and reset tables fast during the Friday and Sunday rush.
Check back two minutes after mains land and fix problems on the spot.
Carry plates to the right seat without auctioning food at the table.
Refuse service to anyone under 18 or visibly drunk, as the Liquor Act requires.
Pull espresso shots and steam milk for flat whites and cappuccinos.
Greet guests, seat them and hand over menus within a minute of arrival.

What you need

Grade 10 or higher; matric is a plus
Neat grooming and a friendly manner under pressure
You can stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift
Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays
Quick with basic maths and card machines
Own transport or a safe way home after late shifts
