Job Description

This is a floor job at a wine farm restaurant in Pinetown where your tips follow your service. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Home base is a wine farm restaurant on the Pinetown side of KwaZulu-Natal.

What your day looks like

Mix cocktails, pour draught and serve shooters to spec at the bar.
Clear, wipe and reset tables fast during the Friday and Sunday rush.
Carry plates to the right seat without auctioning food at the table.
Take orders on the POS tablet and read them back to avoid kitchen mistakes.
Greet guests, seat them and hand over menus within a minute of arrival.

You'll need

Quick with basic maths and card machines
Neat grooming and a friendly manner under pressure
You speak clear English and can chat easily with guests
Own transport or a safe way home after late shifts
Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays

Helpful, not essential

Responsible Service of Alcohol training
A second language such as isiZulu, isiXhosa or Afrikaans
