Job Description

Residents and staff at an industrial park in George need to feel safe when they arrive; that is your job. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Location: George, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What you'll actually do

Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
Keep the guardhouse clean and the OB up to date for the relieving officer
Write every incident and shift change in the occurrence book (OB)
Open and close boom gates for residents, deliveries and contractors
Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events

You'll need

Physically fit for foot patrols
Clean criminal record
Speaks and writes basic English
Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers

Extra points for

Experience on estate access apps or biometric readers
A Code 8 licence for vehicle patrols
