Branch Service Consultant (Insurance Walk-In) – Entry Level

You'll help walk-in customers at a furniture retail branch in Somerset West, face to face, all day. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll be based at a furniture retail branch in Somerset West. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Book repairs and warranty claims and give customers a reference number.
• Log complaints and pass them to the store or branch manager.
• Process returns, exchanges and credit notes under the Consumer Protection Act.
• Upsell contract upgrades, accessories or cover when it fits the customer.
• Do SIM swaps and RICA registrations with proper ID checks.

• Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
• Accurate with cash and paperwork
• You can stay polite with a long queue watching
• Retail or customer service experience of at least a year

• Monthly sales incentive on upgrades and add-ons
• Fixed roster published two weeks ahead

• Product training and certifications paid for

• Dress as if you already work the counter when you drop off a CV or go for the interview.
• Apply close to home: stores prefer people who can reach the mall reliably for opening and closing shifts.
