Brand Promoter (In-Store Demos) – Entry Level

Out on the road for a pet food manufacturer in Ermelo, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.

• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area

• Cellphone and data allowance
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
• Product samples and staff pricing

• Name the areas you know and the store types you have serviced (supermarket chains, independents, spazas) in your CV summary.
