Job Description

You'll cover a route of stores around Secunda, selling in stock and fixing shelves as you go. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Home base is a pet food manufacturer on the Secunda side of Mpumalanga.

The work, day to day

Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.

What you need

You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
Matric
Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting

Nice if you have

Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
Speaking two or more local languages
