Brand Promoter (In-Store Demos)

Out on the road for a snack and confectionery wholesaler in Khayelitsha, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Location: Khayelitsha, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.

• Matric
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area

• Speaking two or more local languages
• A sales or marketing certificate
• Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position

• Product samples and staff pricing
• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
• Cellphone and data allowance

• Recruiters check your licence first, so attach a clear certified copy and note any clean driving record.
• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
