Job Description

You'll look after tables at a family steakhouse in Komani, from the first greeting to the final bill. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

This post is in Komani (Eastern Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

What you'll actually do

Restock the bar fridges and help with the weekly stock count.
Explain specials, allergens and wine pairings in plain words.
Pull espresso shots and steam milk for flat whites and cappuccinos.
Greet guests, seat them and hand over menus within a minute of arrival.
Check back two minutes after mains land and fix problems on the spot.
Clear, wipe and reset tables fast during the Friday and Sunday rush.

You'll need

You can stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift
Own transport or a safe way home after late shifts
Grade 10 or higher; matric is a plus
Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays
