Good service at a beachfront cocktail bar in Coega starts with you: friendly, quick and on top of every order. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

The work is in Coega, Eastern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

• Greet guests, seat them and hand over menus within a minute of arrival.
• Split bills, process card payments and handle tip-outs at the end of shift.
• Mix cocktails, pour draught and serve shooters to spec at the bar.
• Check back two minutes after mains land and fix problems on the spot.
• Restock the bar fridges and help with the weekly stock count.

• Own transport or a safe way home after late shifts
• At least 6 months of waitering, bar or coffee shop experience
• Quick with basic maths and card machines
• Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays
• You can stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift
• Grade 10 or higher; matric is a plus

• Responsible Service of Alcohol training
• Wine knowledge from a WSET Level 1 or wine farm stint
• A barista course certificate or latte-art skills

• Paid menu and wine tastings so you can sell with confidence
• Staff meal on every shift
• You keep your own tips, paid out daily or weekly

• Walk in with your CV between 2pm and 4pm when managers have time, not during lunch or dinner service.
• Put the names of the restaurants you worked at and your average covers per shift at the top of your CV.
