Job Description

Hard outdoor work on a shopping centre renovation in Burgersfort, with a chance to learn a trade while you earn. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Home base is a shopping centre renovation on the Burgersfort side of Limpopo. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

What you'll actually do

Clean tools, mixers and wheelbarrows at the end of each day
Pass tools and materials to the plumber or electrician as needed
Dig trenches and foundations to the depth the foreman marks
Sign the daily safety talk register before work starts
Help offload deliveries of steel, timber and pipes

What you need

A clean record is preferred for some government sites
Willing to start early, often at 06:30
Able to follow instructions from a foreman or artisan
You take safety rules seriously and wear full PPE
Grade 8 or higher
Physically strong and fit for outdoor work in all weather
