Job Description

Shoppers in Burgersfort judge a wholesale cash-and-carry by its shelves, and that is where you come in. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is Burgersfort-based, with most of your time spent at a wholesale cash-and-carry. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

The work, day to day

Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips

What you need

Neat appearance and punctual
Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
Polite with customers and happy to help
Grade 10 or matric
Honest, since stock losses are checked closely

Extra points for

Some till or cash-handling experience
Own transport for route merchandising jobs
