Job Description

Every wall and slab on this shopping centre renovation in Vanderbijlpark needs labourers, and the crew needs one more. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

You'll report in Vanderbijlpark. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What your day looks like

Clean tools, mixers and wheelbarrows at the end of each day
Pass tools and materials to the plumber or electrician as needed
Sign the daily safety talk register before work starts
Help offload deliveries of steel, timber and pipes
Mix concrete and mortar by hand or with a small mixer

What you need

You take safety rules seriously and wear full PPE
Willing to start early, often at 06:30
Grade 8 or higher
Prepared to travel between sites in the area

Nice if you have

Previous site work you can show with a reference
A working-at-heights or scaffolding ticket
Registered on your ward or municipal job-seeker database
