Hardware Store Yard Assistant

Night fill, weekends or month-end rush, a liquor store in Centurion needs extra hands. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

The site is in Centurion; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
• Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
• Collect trolleys from the parking lot
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves

• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Able to stand and lift cases all shift
• Grade 10 or matric
• Basic reading and maths for price checks

• Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
• Own transport for route merchandising jobs
• Some till or cash-handling experience
