Building Maintenance Handyman (Residential Estate)

The rental property portfolio in Epping needs a reliable all-rounder to keep the buildings safe and looking good. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a rental property portfolio on the Epping side of Western Cape.

• Patch, sand and paint walls, doors and ceilings between tenants
• Service pool pumps, gate motors and garage door openers
• Get quotes from outside contractors and let them in for bigger jobs
• Lay and repair floor tiles and re-grout wet areas
• Replace tap washers, cisterns, shower heads and toilet seats

• Honest and trusted to work inside occupied units
• Code 08 licence to run errands to the hardware store
• Your own tools are a plus, but safe tool handling is a must
• Basic painting, tiling, plumbing and carpentry skills
• Grade 10 at least; matric is a plus
• At least 2 years of general building maintenance work you can back up with references

• Gate motor and intercom repair skills
• Basic first aid certificate

• Uniform and safety boots supplied
• Training on specialised equipment like gate motors and pool plant
• Meals on duty at hotel sites
