Job Description

Steady shift work with a tour and charter company in Midrand for drivers with a passenger PrDP. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Home base is a tour and charter company on the Midrand side of Gauteng. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What your day looks like

Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters

Must-haves

Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
Clean driving and criminal record
Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Medically fit
Punctual for very early starts

Helpful, not essential

Experience on mine or staff transport routes
Tour coach experience with charters
