Job Description

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a neighbourhood supermarket in Rosslyn, so shoppers find what they came for. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is in Rosslyn (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What your day looks like

Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager

Must-haves

Able to stand and lift cases all shift
Basic reading and maths for price checks
Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
Polite with customers and happy to help
