Job Description

Here your code runs in production, not in a drawer: a logistics software company in Germiston. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

This post is Germiston-based, with most of your time spent at a logistics software company. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

What your day looks like

Pick up tickets from the sprint board and estimate the work
Investigate production bugs using logs and monitoring dashboards
Join daily stand-ups and sprint planning
Write unit and integration tests before you merge
Review teammates' pull requests with useful comments

You'll need

Commercial experience in at least one of PHP, C#, Java, Python or JavaScript
Solid Git habits: branches, pull requests and meaningful commit messages
Stable internet and a quiet workspace for remote days
A computer science or IT qualification, or a portfolio that proves you can build
