Feed animals the right ration at the right time
Clean pens, houses and milking equipment

You'll need

Reliable, since animals depend on you
South African ID or a legal work permit

Comfortable around large animals
Able to live on the farm or close by

Nice if you have

Basic farm maintenance skills

How to apply for this job

Check you meet the must-haves first; recruiters filter on those before anything else.
Get these ready, because shortlisted people are asked for them straight away: any animal health course certificates plus certified identity document.
Send your details with the form below. Add one or two lines about similar work you've done.
Watch for a call or WhatsApp from How2Apply over the next 8 working days.

How2Apply recruits for this position on behalf of hiring employers around East London; applications go into our talent pool and shortlisted candidates are introduced directly.

How2Apply never charges you to apply, for training, for uniforms or for a "placement fee". If anyone asks you for money, it is a scam.

Before you hit apply

For foreman roles, mention how many workers you supervised and what you were in charge of.
Say which animals you have worked with and for how long. Farmers want someone who already knows the routine.
