Job Description

Sharp eyes and a calm voice are the tools of the trade at a vehicle tracking control centre in Ballito. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Home base is a vehicle tracking control centre on the Ballito side of KwaZulu-Natal.

The work, day to day

Log every event and action on the monitoring software
Answer alarm signals and phone clients to verify them
Pull and save video footage for incident investigations
Keep call-out times and client passwords up to date
Hand over open incidents clearly at shift change

You'll need

Computer literate and quick on a keyboard
Able to stay focused through 12-hour day and night shifts
PSIRA registration, Grade C or higher
No criminal convictions (vetting is done before you start)
Clear speaking voice on radio and phone

Helpful, not essential

CCTV operator short course
Speaking more than one local language
Call centre work in the past
