Civil Labourer (Road Works)

Strong, willing hands are wanted on a townhouse construction site in Randburg. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

The site is in Randburg; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Pass tools and materials to the plumber or electrician as needed
• Sign the daily safety talk register before work starts
• Carry bricks, blocks and cement bags to where the bricklayers work
• Mix concrete and mortar by hand or with a small mixer
• Clear rubble and load it into skips
• Compact soil and layer bedding sand with a plate compactor
• Dig trenches and foundations to the depth the foreman marks
