Client Service Officer (Municipal Pay Point) – Fixed-Term

You'll help walk-in customers at a private clinic front desk in Khayelitsha, face to face, all day. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

Home base is a private clinic front desk on the Khayelitsha side of Western Cape. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Take payments, balance your till and bank cash at close.
• Update customer details and file signed forms for audit.
• Log complaints and pass them to the store or branch manager.
• Call customers when repairs or orders are ready to collect.
• Greet customers, find out what they need and manage the queue ticket system.
• Do SIM swaps and RICA registrations with proper ID checks.

• Presentable and approachable with all kinds of customers
• Accurate with cash and paperwork
• Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
• Matric (Grade 12) certificate

• Medical scheme or insurance product knowledge
• RICA and cellular product knowledge

• Product training and certifications paid for
• Staff discount on products

• Mention any till, cash-up or POS work on your CV; it shows you can be trusted with money.
• Apply close to home: stores prefer people who can reach the mall reliably for opening and closing shifts.
