Job Description

Good service at a sports bar and grill in Bellville starts with you: friendly, quick and on top of every order. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

Home base is a sports bar and grill on the Bellville side of Western Cape.

What your day looks like

Pull espresso shots and steam milk for flat whites and cappuccinos.
Mix cocktails, pour draught and serve shooters to spec at the bar.
Split bills, process card payments and handle tip-outs at the end of shift.
Take orders on the POS tablet and read them back to avoid kitchen mistakes.
Clear, wipe and reset tables fast during the Friday and Sunday rush.

Must-haves

At least 6 months of waitering, bar or coffee shop experience
You speak clear English and can chat easily with guests
Neat grooming and a friendly manner under pressure
You can stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift

Nice if you have

A barista course certificate or latte-art skills
Responsible Service of Alcohol training
