Cocktail Bartender

You'll look after tables at a sports bar and grill in George, from the first greeting to the final bill. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is George-based, with most of your time spent at a sports bar and grill.

• Set tables, polish cutlery and glasses, and check condiments before doors open.
• Mix cocktails, pour draught and serve shooters to spec at the bar.
• Restock the bar fridges and help with the weekly stock count.
• Clear, wipe and reset tables fast during the Friday and Sunday rush.
• Pull espresso shots and steam milk for flat whites and cappuccinos.
• Refuse service to anyone under 18 or visibly drunk, as the Liquor Act requires.

• Neat grooming and a friendly manner under pressure
• Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays
• Grade 10 or higher; matric is a plus
• You can stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift
• Own transport or a safe way home after late shifts
• You speak clear English and can chat easily with guests

• A barista course certificate or latte-art skills
• Responsible Service of Alcohol training
