Job Description

Good service at a family steakhouse in Pretoria West starts with you: friendly, quick and on top of every order. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

This post is Pretoria West-based, with most of your time spent at a family steakhouse.

The work, day to day

Explain specials, allergens and wine pairings in plain words.
Greet guests, seat them and hand over menus within a minute of arrival.
Set tables, polish cutlery and glasses, and check condiments before doors open.
Clear, wipe and reset tables fast during the Friday and Sunday rush.
Carry plates to the right seat without auctioning food at the table.
Pull espresso shots and steam milk for flat whites and cappuccinos.

You'll need

Own transport or a safe way home after late shifts
Grade 10 or higher; matric is a plus
Quick with basic maths and card machines
You speak clear English and can chat easily with guests
